Haryana Urban Development Authority has launched a new plots scheme 2016-17 for the allotment of plots in Rohtak. HUDA Freehold Residential Plot Scheme 2016-17 is offering 354 residential plots in Sector-21 Rohtak.
How to Apply: Registration has been started from 28 december 2016 and will be closed on 17 February 2017. The registration amount is 10% of tentative cost of a single units. Application can be submitted online only on HUDA website. Payment of earnest money can either be made online using the payment gateway or the earnest money can be deposited in the authorized Banks by generating the Challan Form from the HUDA website. Non-refundable charges of `500/- (Five hundred only) shall also have to be deposited alongwith the earnest money.
- Applicants should be resident of India.
- The age of applicants should be completed the limit of 18 years.
- Applicant applying under reserved category must be a domicile of Haryana.

Rohtak is one of the priority towns identified for development in the National Capital Region (NCR). It is located on the National Highway no. 10, popularly known as DHS Road. The town is well connected through network of road, broad gauge northern railway linking National-Capital Delhi, Bhiwani-Hisar-Sirsa towards west, Panipat-Ambala-Chandigarh towards north and Jind-Narwana on the north-west side. The road linkages are through NH-10, NH-71 and 71-A in addition to scheduled roads. It has a large grain market, vegetables market, fodder market. It also commands a position in cloth merchandise in the region. Rohtak town, besides being district headquarter is also functioning as Head Quarter of Divisional Commissioner and Inspector-General Police. It is also an education hub as it has the privilege of having a Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Science, besides Maharishi Dayanand University, two Ayurvedic Colleges, eight degree colleges, two Polytechnics and a Management institute etc.
The prices are moderate/high and one can look at this scheme from end use perspective. This may not fetch immediate appreciation.
