DDA housing scheme 2017 :Last Date extended
DDA has extended the last date for its DDA new housing scheme 2017 from 11 August 2017 to 11 September 2017 due to poor response from the general public. DDA has also amended the clauses related to refund which is the major reason why people are not applying for DDA Awasiya Yojana 2017. Earlier, If an applicant applies for the scheme and later surrenders his application after the draw date but before the issue of a demand letter, 25 per cent of the registration fee paid by him/her will be forfeited. Now, DDA has amended this clause and the applicants will now have an option to surrender their flats without incurring any charges from date of draw till 15th day from the date of issue of demand cum allotment letter. From 16th day till 30th day from the date of issue of demand cum allotment letter, 10% of application money will be forfeited. From 31st day till 90th day from the date of issue of demand cum allotment letter, 50% of application money will be forfeited. Beyond 91st day from the date of issue of demand cum allotment letter, 100% of application money will be forfeited.
Will the applicants who have already applied for the scheme before 11 August 2017 need to worry? Not at all as the above mentioned modified clauses of the DDA Awasiya Yojana 2017 will also be applicable to those who have already applied for the scheme.
