DDA New Housing Scheme of 10,000 flats in February 2019
DDA New Housing Scheme of 10,000 flats is expected to be launched by DDA(Delhi Development Authority) in February 2019. Most of the flats are going to be launched under EWS category and 1 BHK flats. 1 BHK flats will have a minimum size of 40 sq mtr.
DDA vice-chairman Tarun Kapoor said that several apartments are under construction and about 25,000 apartments would be ready by the next six months. DDA is most likely to offer it in two phases. Phase 1 Scheme of DDA is expected to be launched in February 2019 and Phase 2 to be launched subsequently.
Last Housing Scheme of 2014 and 2017 saw lots of alottee returning the flats due to poor construction quality and lack of adequate facilities in the flats. Kapoor has announced that new guidelines would soon be issued by the DDA on maintenance of flats in future. “There are three levels to it, manufacturing defect (seen every five years), repair job taken as per what is mentioned in the scheme brochure, and third is the day-to-day repair. And, soon, we will have a set of guidelines for that,” he told reporters.
